 "If I am not for myself, who will be for me?" reminds us that our commitment to ourselves needs to be primary, although not singular. In order to be effective community leaders, moms, spouses, business women, grandmoms etc, we must care for ourselves. Easier said than done, right?

This is why we are will gather for the afternoon of January, 28th from 3pm-5pm to be reminded us of the importance of self-care and to learn simple, yet effective ways to implement self-care into our daily lives. 

A NEW YEAR, NEW YOU, is all about you feeling less stress, more confident and happier!

Lauren our resident Plant-Based Enthusiast will have you feeling better from the inside out. Her knowledge and expertise when it comes to our food is off the charts. Lauren will share with you how what you put in your bodies directly affects your overall physical and mental well-being. She will offer tips you can take with you and start using immediately. Lauren’s recipes are featured in The Main Street Vegan Academy Cookbook: Over 100 Plant-Sourced Recipes Plus Practical Tips for the Healthiest, Most Compassionate You. She will also have a recipe featured in the winter edition of Vegan Life Magazine.


Tami, our very own yogi will guide you in connecting your body with your mind and spirit. Plan to breathe deep and get curious about your body's unique strength and flexibility. Whether you practice yoga and meditate regularly or have never done it before, Tami's instruction will help you release tension, replenish and realign your body and yourself. Bring a mat, blanket and open mind.
